The original company was established in 1894 by George M Boutross. Edward Boutross
is a third generation designer/merchandiser, responsible for designing and/or styling
the entire line. We are proud to offer superb linens and gifts crafted with attention to detail using
the same techniques as
his grandfather in 1894, over 100 years ago-treasures
that not only will last for generations but are easy to care for. It is our sincere hope that your customers

As part of his legacy, Edward has incorporated many of his Grandfather’s techniques
into the line.
Please note that all scallops line up perfectly, hemstitching is straight and even
and embroidery is consistently tight in every piece. Our
embroidery threads are
colorfast and preshrunk and their colors remain consistent. Expertly mitered corners
insure that every item lies beautifully flat and will not pucker after laundering.
Our linens are truly heirloom quality and our entire line is kept in stock, ready for immediate shipment.
Our painted linens are completely handmade using brushes and textile paints, not
silk-screened or heat-transferred. Our paints are guaranteed colorfast and have
no notable texture after application. Color lots are always consistent. Colors always
look beautiful and never feel stiff or scratchy. We use only prewashed, preshrunk,
mercerized 100% American cotton that always retains its lovely sheen and texture.
After machine washing and tumble dry, no ironing is needed.
All of our linens are beautifully packaged and ready for immediate sale and use.
Napkins, placemats and smaller items are placed on cards and tied with our signature
satin ribbons. Every item is lined with tissue and includes an elegant card insert;
a resealable plastic sleeve keeps dust away. Each piece is packaged individually
and arrives, freshly ironed and ready for sale.
You’ll never see any of our lovely things in a discount chain store. Overruns and
specials are reserved for our present customers only. You will find our staff friendly,
knowledgeable, articulate and quite capable. Any problems or questions are handled
quickly and courteously.
